Introduction

Jitesh is an Indian DJ, Remixer, Producer and the founder of India’s largest DJ training organization, Spin Gurus DJ & Remixing Academy. In February 2007 he was crowned as India’s #1 DJ after winning the National DJ Championship (Times Music War of DJs). Till date, he is the only DJ from the Republic of India who has been invited for the Pioneer Digital DJ Battle Asia Grand Final. He attended this event held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2008. He is best known for his scratching skills and Bollywood Remixes.

Discography

The discography of DJ Jitesh consists of three official albums and numerous underground releases. DJ Jitesh released his debut album “Black & White Yaadein” featuring famous Bollywood singers like Javed Ali, Ravindra Upadhyay and Sanjeevani. The album was released on Times Music in November 2008 - peaking at number three spot on the top Indipop charts of India. The album sold 10,000 copies in the first week of its release. The companion promo video which featured top Indian model Jesse Randhawa was in high rotation at MTV, Channel [V] and other music channels for weeks.

The second album “DJ Jitesh & Best of War of DJs” was released with in a month of the release of the first album. It contained the same tracks as the first album and some other tracks by other renowned DJs of the time. This album was a planned release that had to happen under the title “Best of War of DJs” but looking at the humongous success of the first album, Times Music honored DJ Jitesh by changing the name of the album and giving him the title credits as also his picture on the front cover.

Bollywood DJ Nonstop Remix, the DJs third official album, in which he was ably assisted by PSynth, a faculty at Spin Gurus, was released in January 2012 on India’s biggest music label T-Series. Featuring all the latest hits at the time.
